Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with MES/EBR or similar systems in the life sciences industries.
- Proven experience deploying MES in a GMP environment, configuring Recipes, MBR’s, Materials, BOMs, Order Management, Equipment management, Batch Review/Approval and other typical components.
- A background in one or more of the following areas: manufacturing, as an industrial pharmacy, manufacturing related engineering, Manufacturing IT, automation, or digitalization.
- Experience integrating MES with systems such as ERP, LIMS, and Historian.
- Familiarity with low code/no-code software and its use in manufacturing or business.
- Knowledge of Computer System Validation is a plus.
- Understanding and interest in UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with software integration technologies, API’s, machine/equipment integration protocols, OPC/UA interfacing, is a plus.
- Good documentation skills.
- Flexible mindset and comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
- A keen interest in improving business processes through digitalization.
- Critical thinking, business/process analysis, and problem-solving.
- Ability to travel as required to client sites.
Key responsibilities
- Become a specialist in the BatchLine product capable of deploying innovative and effective MES, EBR, and other manufacturing solutions suited to different types/sizes of manufacturers.
- Gather and analyse customer requirements.
- Design, build, and test BatchLine processes following best practices and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate and work closely with delivery teams, customer stakeholders, and partner organizations.
- Successfully deliver project activities through to completion.
- Train, support, and coach customer resources on the product and in MBR building
- Maintain the highest levels of knowledge of the BatchLine product and regularly share internally with colleagues.
- Provide knowledge sharing and training to internal team members when required.
- Support the sales team to devise valuable solutions as part of the sales process for potential projects.
- Perform R&D tasks using BatchLine and other Factorytalk systems as required.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- High levels of end-user training participation and positive feedback concerning the usability and functionality of the MES system.
- Increased productivity of end-users as a result of MES training and support.
