To help us build awesome solutions that improve customer experience we are now looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to equip our team with the best tools for their jobs. You will be responsible for building internal IT toolchains to support our internal operation with a focus on software development and delivery. If you have a good understanding of SDLC and a solid background in developing cloud-native CI/CD pipelines, we’d love to speak with you.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble the tools and processes that permit automation of tasks using the best design patterns and system architecture. When an off-the-shelf tool cannot solve a problem, create new APIs, CLIs, web apps, and other interfaces as needed for platform users to interact with.
  • Work with architects and stakeholders to identify operational problems and create IT solutions and workflows that allow new infrastructure resources and development environments to be created on demand.
  • Provide platform-level technical support for all platform users including development teams, software reliability team and IT to encourage platform adoption, promote its capabilities, and solve any usability queries.
  • Establish observability suites to efficiently locate the causes of reported problems and then apply fixes to resolve issues and put in place future preventive solution before they significantly impact the organization.
  • Continually appraising security risks of our internal platform against cybersecurity threats and maintaining communication with users.
  • Regularly review new tools that become available in the industry and assess how they could be integrated. Doing cost estimation and comparison to look for potential optimization across the platform.

Who You Are

  • BSc or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Good knowledge of public cloud (AWS and/or Azure would be a plus)
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Experience working with Terraform and Kubernetes would be a plus)
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Collaborative team spirit
