Senior/Lead Software Quality Specialist

What You’ll Do

• Participate in agile software development team as a representative of software testing procedures
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Work closely with software engineers to implement test-driven development
• Develop and apply testing processes into agile development process to meet quality standards
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts and introduce new testing tools and strategies
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Create and monitor quality assurance metrics and perform failure analysis
• Always be on the lookout for team collaboration issues and proactively solve the problems
• Constantly observe for team knowledge gap and initiate technical coaching
• Be responsible for keeping technical discussions smooth and efficient

What You Have

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Experience as a Quality Assurance or similar software testing role
• Proficient with git and git workflows
• Good knowledge of public cloud (AWS and/or Azure would be a plus)
• Working knowledge of automated testing tools (Experience using Cypress and working with CI/CD would be a plus)
• Problem-solving attitude
• Collaborative team spirit
