Factorytalk was proud to participate in the ISPE Indonesia Annual Conference 2026 — one of the region’s premier gatherings for life sciences manufacturing and GxP professionals.
Held on 12–13 May 2026 in Jakarta, the two-day conference brought together more than 200 industry professionals from across Indonesia and the wider Asia-Pacific region — including quality assurance leaders, validation engineers, IT specialists, regulatory affairs experts, and manufacturing operations teams from the pharmaceutical, biotech, and med-device sectors.
Factorytalk attended as both a speaker and exhibitor, reinforcing our position as a leading GxP digitisation and IT experts for life sciences manufacturing across the region.
Speaker Session
David Margetts, Group Executive Director of Factorytalk and BatchLine, delivered a keynote session on Implementation of AI to Support Manufacturing Operations.
The session explored how AI technologies are being applied today — not as a future concept, but as a working tool — to enhance operational efficiency, support real-time decision-making, and maintain GMP compliance across complex production environments.
Attendees gained an insight into how AI is reshaping the way life sciences manufacturers approach batch management, quality monitoring, deviation detection, and data-driven process optimisation — all within a validated, audit-ready framework.
“AI in regulated manufacturing is no longer a far away future, it is emerging alongside guidance and recognition from leading global authorities.
The question is not whether to adopt it, but how to start in a safe way, how to continuously validate, and how to ensure the benefits genuinely add value to your operations.”
— David Margetts, Group Executive Director, Factorytalk & BatchLine
Factorytalk Exhibition Booth
Alongside the speaker session, the Factorytalk team set up an exhibition booth across both days of the conference — giving attendees the opportunity to speak directly with our experts, explore our solutions in detail, and see live demonstrations of our GxP digitisation platforms.
The booth attracted strong interest from professionals looking to understand how cloud MES, eQMS, eCTD, and frontline operations platforms can be implemented within a regulated environment — particularly in the context of international GMP compliance and computer system validation (CSV).
Looking ahead
ISPE Indonesia 2026 reinforced what we see every day in our work — that life sciences manufacturers across the region are actively seeking practical, validated digital solutions to meet the demands of modern GMP compliance. The conversations, questions, and connections made over the two days reflect the growing momentum behind GxP digitisation in Southeast Asia.
Factorytalk remain committed to being the trusted partner for life sciences manufacturers on this journey — providing the expertise, tools, and validated frameworks to make digital transformation both achievable and audit-ready
