Factorytalk is looking for engineers and manufacturing professionals who want to move into digital manufacturing consulting, helping leading life sciences companies transform their shopfloor operations using modern no-code platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing solutions, working closely with users, and delivering tangible operational improvements—not just building software.

The Role

As a No-Code Solutions Engineer, you will design and deliver digital manufacturing applications using the Tulip no-code platform, working with global customers across life sciences industries.

You will translate real-world manufacturing challenges into intuitive digital applications—focusing on workflows, data, usability, and integration—while working closely with customers and delivery teams.

This role combines solution design, application development, and customer engagement in a fast-evolving Industry 4.0 environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build digital manufacturing applicationsusing Tulip (no-code platform)
  • Translate customer requirements into functional workflows, data models, and UI/UX designs
  • Configure integrations with systems, machines, and data sources
  • Deploy and support applications in live production environments
  • Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams across global projects
  • Lead or support workshops to gather requirements and validate solutions
  • Train and coach users on application usage and platform capabilities
  • Support pre-sales activities including demos, PoCs, and solution concepts
  • Ensure solutions align with best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP)

Candidate Profile

Essential

• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with 1–3 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering, or manufacturing-related IT/digital roles
• Background in production, process engineering, automation, or manufacturing IT
• Strong interest in digital transformation and process improvement
• Ability to analyze workflows and translate them into digital solutions
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Good communication skills with ability to explain technical topics to business users
• Fluent in English
• Comfortable working in international, fast-paced environments

Desirable

• Experience in pharma, biotech, or medical devices
• Exposure to MES, shopfloor systems, or digital manufacturing tools
• Familiarity with no-code / low-code platforms (e.g., Tulip)
• Understanding of system integration, APIs, or data structures
• Knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) / GxP environments
• Interest in UI/UX design and user-centric application development
